  1. When are the meetings for BPW/RC held?
    2nd Wednesday of each month
    11:30 am - 12:00 noon - networking and registration 12:00 noon - 1:00 pm - program with lunch being served

  3. What is the cost of the luncheon?
    $20 for the meal for members or guests; non-eaters option available
  4. How do I make reservations for the luncheon?
    E-Lunch reservations can be made by calling 502-499-4420. Reservations must be made by the Thursday PRIOR to the meeting. You may register in the same manner for a member or a guest but please be sure to mention that the person is a guest. Be advised: You are financially responsible for any reservation you make whether you (or your guest) attend. Reservations are not required for non-eaters.
  5. How do I contact BPW/RC or provide feedback regarding the web site?

  6. As a member, how do I obtain a name badge?
    All members are encouraged to wear a name badge to the monthly meetings. To Order or replace your name badge, you may go to the Name Badge Order Form.
  7. How may I update my BPW Roster info?
    Any change of address, company name, phone number, etc., should be communicated to the BPW/RC Membership Chair (Go to the About Us to see the current Board of Directors/Committee Chairs contact information).
  8. How do I become involved in a committee?
    Committee chairs are appointed in the late spring and committee membership is established soon thereafter. You are encouraged, however, to join any committee at any time during the year.   9. What magazines or newsletters are published within the organization?
    You should receive the following:
    • Business Women from BPW/USA
    • The Kentucky Cardinal from BPW/KY
    • News and Views from BPW/River City, a bi-monthly newsletter from BPW/River City which highlights chapter activities, achievements of members, current women's issues, and other similar information. It is distributed by mail.     • BPW's e-Newsletter from BPW/River City highlights the latest chapter activities and keeps members abreast of up-to-date information regarding the latest events for members to participate.   10. If I need to send correspondence as a representative of BPW, is there special stationery with the organization logo that I should use?

  11. What is NBWW?
    National Business Women's Week (NBWW) is celebrated annually during the third full week of October. It is designed to honor working women for their contributions to the business world and the communities in which they live. BPW/RC highlights this week with many other special events. An awards dinner is held in which members, guests, and companies observe pe9ople being recognized and awarded for their outstanding achievements in the community.

    The following is alist of awards presented during NBWW: Corporate Award of Excellence; Good Guy Award; Woman of Achievement Award; Young Careerist Award.
